The Umbrella Project is an intergenerational survivor empowerment program for adolescent and aging victims gender-based violence, exploitation and human trafficking designed to connect survivors with the direct services, resources, empowerment, advocacy and mentorship needed.
The Umbrella Project invites healing and empowerment thorough creative exploration and expression. The collaborative trauma-informed workshop guides participants through therapeutic writing, art and music sessions, round-table discussions and group and individual mentoring culminating in a final, collaborative art collection and showcase featuring writing pieces, artwork and music or spoken performances.
