Julie, licensed psychotherapist, is committed to helping other find healing within a safe environment. She offers confidential care to support individuals and organizations when trauma or behavioral and mental health concerns feel unmanageable or unsafe.
Julie has extensive experience working with parents, children, adolescents, aging adults and care providers (i.e. educators, caregivers, trauma workers). Areas of specialization include but are not limited to: Vicarious Trauma; Compassion Fatigue; Domestic Violence, Abuse + Sexual Assault; Childhood + Generational Trauma; PTSD; Depression + Anxiety; Grief + Loss; Anger Management; Performance Coaching; and Elder Care.
Julie utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization + Reprocessing) therapy and incorporates talk therapy, creative expression, play therapy, movement and mindfulness. Julie also offers care management and post-care planning.
She sees clients from around the world virtually, on-location or in her offices in Portland, Oregon and Lafayette, Colorado. Immediate crisis response services are available during a tragedy, disaster or emergency to provide on-location, trauma-responsive interventions and support.
